In the form of private and group instruction, master classes and professional workshops, Beth Arentsen is guiding a new generation of singers, actors and public speaking professionals with an emphasis on vocal health and wellness. Building on the success of her former teaching studio “Music by the Sea” (Red Bank, NJ) Miss Beth’s students range from beginners to seasoned young performers. Training across all musical styles and integrating a healthy approach to singing and speaking, Miss Beth brings years of stage and recording experience to her teaching studio. She helps the young singer and actor develop proper technique while bringing out his or her natural ability. Her goal is to to build confidence while inspiring a love of the performing arts in all of her students.

45 or 60 minute voice lessons

Students will learn proper singing posture, breathing technique, pitch and tone while developing vocal confidence and stage presence. In addition, Students will gain experience singing solo while building a lasting Broadway and Pop repertoire.

60 minute voice/piano combo lessons

This lesson is designed for the young student interested in both disciplines. In addition to learning proper singing technique, we will work on reading music, scales, chords, related theory and traditional repertoire.

60 minute drama coaching

In this lesson we will prepare the young actor for stage performance. We will select and perform monologues and dramatic material. We will work on improvisation, relaxation techniques and prepare for upcoming auditions. Students experience and interests will shape the direction of the lesson. Beginners are welcomed!

60 minute audition technique

Learn what to do and what not to do at your next big audition. Learn how to control nerves and avoid common mistakes. Let Miss Beth help you shine!

Miss Beth also offers assistance with songwriting, performing arts college admissions as well as guidance with headshot, resume preparation and professional vocal demos.

Recitals

Students are encouraged to perform at our annual Spring Music Recital (previous locations include The Middletown Arts and Cultural Center, Middletown, NJ and Wing Haven, Charlotte, NC).

We also volunteer our voices during the holiday season.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations should be made at least 24-hours in advance to avoid a lesson forfeiture.

More than three cancellations per season may result in forfeiture of lesson time.
